Welcome to the SOA4D (Service-Oriented Architecture for Devices) web site. The SOA4D mission is to foster an ecosystem for the development of service-oriented software applications based on Web services (SOAP messaging, WS-* protocols…) adapted to the specific constraints of embedded devices.  The SOA4D.org is a open source software development web site, supporting and providing open source Web services toolkits. 

While the SOA4D forge part is for developers, this web site part will be designed for helping new comers to understand the purpose of this community, the solution contents, getting started with, get support etc…

The Devices Profile for Web Services (DPWS) Version 1.1 has been approved as an OASIS Standard.

Congratulations to the OASIS Web Services Discovery and Web Services Devices Profile (WS-DD) TC, and the community of implementers, developers and users who have brought the work successfully to culmination.
